Then, as to you, first get a consent letter from the Chinese side, and then go back to your own country to prepare marriage documents.
Step 1.Fill in a standard form of single status certificate; if there is no standard form, you can draft one.
and get the Birth certificate from the Birth and Death Bureau.
Step 2.The documents are to be notarized by a local notary public, or a certified copy to be issued by the competent authorities.
Step 3.The documents are to be authenticated or certified by the department in which the document is executed.
Step 4.The document are to be authenticated by the Chinese Embassy.(Bring yout Photocopy of valid passport and your ID card, fill a AUTHENTICATION/ATTESTATION APPLICATION FORM)
For your girlfriend, she needs to prepare her single status certificate, birth certificate, and household registration book (Hu Kou)
Then you two tke three official style photos of the couple together – shops doing visa photos do these and know the required format
Both of prepared all the above documents, you two can go to the municipal Civil Affairs Bureau (Minzheng Ju ). Normally, you will have to go to the office in the jurisdiction in which your girlfriend is registered on her hukou.
