can i use a public bus to reach Great Wall? how much is cost?

Yes, the public bus is available from Beijing downtown area to the Great Wall. However, which Great Wall you would like to visit? Is it Badaling section? If yes, you can take the Bus No. 919, No.877 or No. 880 and the ticket fare is around CNY12 per person.
