About:Embassy & Consulate of South Africa in China

How to proceed the citizenship for my daughter?

My daughter was born in south Africa ( east Pretoria
I didn't took her birth certificate that time (1998)
She wants her citizenship.currently I live in Beijing
How to proceed? Thanks

Personally, I think the birth certificate is a necessity for one's citizenship. Considering your special situation, I advise you go to the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Beijing directly to get some practical help. Good Luck!
