About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Is it possible to apply for a visa z from outside it's own country ???

I m actually in thailand and i wonder if i will have to go back home (France) to get it done for any reason?

Z visa application to China can be done in a third country if you have all required documents ready, like work permit and invitation letter.
