Internal flight in China

Hey,

On my way back from Australia to Europe I fly from Melbourne to Xiamen, then to Guangzhou and then back to Europe. I do not want to leave the airport, but need there is 1½ hours between the flights from Xiamen to Guangzhou and 4 hours between the flight from Guangzhou to Europe.

Do I need to apply for a transit visum or not or for a different one?

Hi, Patrick, I hear from a friend that if you transit two cities in Mainland China, regardless how long you will stay in the airport, you are required to obtain a transit visa in advance.
