About:Foreign Consulates in Hong Kong

divorced with my filipino husband...then married to an american.Now thinking of retiring to the Phil

Hi!,I worked in Hongkong for 7 yrs. in order to support my 2 children.I separated my husband coz i caught him cheating while I was still in the philippines. I filed a divorced 1999. I got married to an american year 2000 in Hongkong but we did not know that we have to report our marriage in the Phil.Consulate.Ten 10 days after I got my US visa and left Hongkong. We are getting ready to retire.I am now a USpassport holder..Will the Phil Consulate in Hongkong accept my report of marriage?

I think you have to go through relevant formalities to make your marriage recognized by them. To be sure, I advise you contact them directly to know the exact details.
