Arriving at night, which one is safer: bus, taxi, or metro?

Which part of Yuexiu? The airport express bus stops near GZ railway station for RMB17, there's enough luggage room under the bus. Metro subway also convenient for RMB7, but you need to change either at Jiehewanggang station take Line 2 to GZ Railway, and change to other lines, usually Line 5, or stop at Tiyu Xilu and follow the Metro subway map(s). Taxi will cost around RMB140-160. n Guangzhou is safe.

The hotel is at Pan fu lu, near sino trde center. I heard that I should take line 2 and then change to line 3 and stop at yuexiu park station. But im just a bit worried since I'll be traveling with a luggage. Does the station have escalator, not stairs? And is it sfe to walk from yuexiu prk at around 9 pm to the hotel?

Just take easy that all these subway stations in Guangzhou are equipped with escalator. And 9pm is not very late especially in the coming summer time.
