Guangzhou south railway station does not offer luggage storage service, but you can walk about 300 m to the neighbored coach station to store your luggage.0

There is the luggage storage service in the Guangzhou south station, around the Exit. Also, the Guangzhou South coach staion which is nearby also offer this service.1

For your information, I have just traveled from south guangzhou station(November 2017). There are many automatic storage at 3rd floor in trian station but only local because you have to put ID number to the machine. Otherwise you have to go to luggage store near 15A check in counter which open about 8.30 am.3
