About:China Customs Declaration

Is it necessary to file customs declarations for computer web cameras to be used while in China?

We are experimenting with and testing technologies for international classes that will be co-hosted by universities in China and in the United States. One of the communications options will involve video interaction between students at both university sites. Will I need to declare the cameras that I will be bringing with me into China to Chinese customs?

You'd better to file customs declarations If the camera's value exceeds 2,000 CNY
