About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Also working in Korea, but less than 6 months remaining on Korean residency (who would have more??)

I also am working in Korea with less than 6 months on my Korean alien Card, and will start a job in China in August. I am a USA resident but have not been to the USA in seven years. I must now go back to the USA? Also, can I at least get my health check done in Korea?

You need yto have your health checked in USA, so I am afraid that going back to USA is the best way for you to apply the Z Visa.
