About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

VISA information about attending HBM conference in Beijing for a person on H1B visa in US

HI,
I am an indian citizen, current residing in United States on H1B visa.
I am planning to travel to Beijing,China between June 10-June 14.
I am planning to travel between June 5- June 15.
How should i apply for VISA? Should i go to a consulate in United States in order to apply for the visa?
Which type of VISA should i apply for and how early is it necessary to apply for visa.

1. You need a China F visa;
2. You can apply at the embassy/sonsulate general in your residing place about one month before your departure to China, so you can apply now.
3. You need not to apply in person. You can entrust someone or a travel agency to apply on your behalf.
