About:China Visa

I got family L visa for 1 year but I can stay for 30 days each stay.

I am married to my CHinese wife in Sri Lanka and from Sri lanka CHinese Embassy I got family L visa for 1 year but I can stay for 30 days each stay. is it possible to extend from here Shanghai as I want to stay with my wife ?

Yes, you can apply for an extension of stay at the local public security burea in Shanghai about one week before the 30 day duration twice during the year. Every time, you may apply for an extension of no more than 3 months.
