About:China Visa Fees

Overstayed for 4mos in China.

Hi" can you please help me with my situation now? i have been visiting China since 2009 and its just recently i got fooled by an agent and just got my passport back with no visa. My last visa was January 2012, i just knew and found out that the agent fooled me and took my money but luckily gave back my passport..
I am now overstayed 4 months. What should i do? And how much should i pay for penalty? Am i gonna be block listed if i go back to my country and apply for Chinese visa again? Thank u so much and i hope to hear from u soon!

I think we have the same situation.. my visa expired last week of March.. they just returned my passport last week.. they said, they sent my passport to Canada.. just make sure you have 5000RMB.. and ask someone if they can help you get a temporary residence permit. . .. hopefully they will not detain us and put us into jail.. illegal agents better be punished..

Jewel is almost right. You should go to the local immigration office under the public security bureau as soon as possible with an apology letter of your overstay, your passport and maybe the service receipt of the visa agent to make an explanation to the officers about your unintended overstay. I think you will be fined up to a maximum of 5000 RMB. You won't be black listed, or fobidden to enter China again. Please don't worry.
