Indian passport holder with a tourist visa to Australia. Want to apply for Chinese tourist visa.

Hi
I am an Indian national with an Indian Passport and am currently in Australia on a tourist visa. I wish to travel to Shanghai to visit my aunt who is working there.

Can I apply for a tourist visa to China while in Australia itself?

1.Yes, you can apply a Chian L Visa from the China Visa Application Service Center (CVASC), which is located in Level 5, 299 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. The center provides mail service.
2. To remind you, do not forget to bring with you the Australia Visa and the Application Form V2011A, V2011B and your passport. Besides, if you have not been to mainland China, copies of other ID, e.g. previous passport, driver license, etc. may be required.
