About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

What if you do not check-in to a hotel after entering China?

What happens if someone does not appear for check-in at the hotel after entering China. As I know they scan passports at hotels. Does it go to a central database where they can trace it that there was or was no check-in after arrival? If there is no check-in, can this person still travel for example by train? As I know they also need your passport for a train ticket. Is this system linked with the central database if any?

It won't affect something if you won't check in a hotel but travel to another place by train after entering China. The datebase of a hotel is not linked with any central databnase of the Chinese government. However, I'm not sure about the database of the train ticket system. Anyway, I think what matters is your duration period of China. In other words, if you won't overstay in China or do anything illegal, it doesn't matter where you will travel and stay.
