About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I live in Cleveland can I get my visa in at the Chicago office in person

I am travelling to Beijing on June 28th for 3 days and then again on July 16 th through the 18th. I am coming to Chicago for business. Can i purchase my visa at the chicago consulate?

1.Since each embassy or consulate has its own consular district, you can onlyl apply visa at the embassy or consulate that has the consular jurisdition over your residing place.
2.Cleveland is under the consular jurisdition of the Consulate General of China in New York. You can only apply there.If you can not go in person, you can also entrust someone or a travel agency to apply on your behalf.
