About:Chinese Consulates in Russia

Visa to China for Personal Affairs

Hello! I am a British citizen and I study in Russia as an exchange student. I would like to visit my girlfriend in China (she is a Chinese resident) for a month. I can provide a letter of invitation. I think it applies to the ''Tourist and family visit visa (L-visa) that is issued to a foreign citizen who comes to China for tourist purpose, family visit or other personal affairs' that I've found on the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre website, but they don't have an office in Russia. May I ask if it is possible for me to get this type of visa in Russia? If not, which type of visa should I apply for? Thank you very much!

1.Yes, you can get a China L Visa in Russia;
2.In Russia, there are three agencies, namely the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation, Consulate General of China in Khabarovsk and Consulate General of China in St. Petersburg. Each agency has its own consular districts.So to better answer your question, could you please tell me where do you reside?
