I need to renew my China, Hong Kong Identity Card

I have a chinese ID Card from Hong Kong as I was born In Hong Kong and now live in England can I renew this ID Card here in England or do I have to return to Hong Kong

You may just renew the Id card through the local China embassy or consulate.
