Reimbursement in case of delay

Is there any reimbursement of ticket/hotel accommodation when missing a connecting train due to a delayed previous train?

For trains, you need go to the train station and change your train to a later one in person during 2 hrs after the train departs. For hotels, rules are different due to different hotels. You may check the info according to detailed hotels.
