Leaving for Hong Kong counts an exit from mainland China. but, don't worry, you can apply for a new China visa from the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC in HK SAR. They provide rush service for visa processing.

The address of the visa office is 7th Floor, Lower Block, China Resources Building, No.26, Harbor Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong SAR

Their office hours are 9:00-12:00 & 14:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (except Hong Kong public holidays,)

A single entyr China visa costs 200 HK dollars. If you use the rush service, you may collect the visa on the second day after your application, but you have to an additional fee of 300 HK dollars.
