About:Visa Policy of China

about long stay in China

hi,,i divorce from my chines wife,and son she already give me,now my son is living with me from 5 years,house is my name i bought it before 10 years,i just want to know how long visa i can get,,,son have chines passport too,,ur advice is appreciated

You can try to apply for a China Resident Visa (D), but very few people are able to achieve this status now. Becuase your son holds Chinese passport, you can apply for a temporary resident permit at local PSB. With this permit, you can live in China with your son for one or two years at most. The resident permit can also be extended before it expires.
