About:China Visa Application in USA

traveling from australia to vancouver via guangzhou,connecting time of 21 hrs do i need a visa

i will be staying over night in the airport hotel so i will have to leave the transit area. also i am an irish citizen but currently living in Australia.

Considering your situation, you may either apply for a China transit visa in Australia before the trip, or you may confirm with your air company whethre you are able to get a stay permit at Guangzhou airport on arrival.
