Do I need to provide full residence details for a 2 week stay

Am going to China for 2 weeks but only have accommodation organized for 1st week so can't give full residence
details. Does this matter?

It won't matter. Even if you were only given one week duration, you may apply for extension of stay in China for another week at the local public security bureau.
