You will have to provide the original and a copy of your permanent residence or work permit in UK which should be valid for at least half a year if you are not visa or permit exempt for residing or working in the UK.

You will only be able to get a single entry visa, I think (not sure) for only one month. But then you can get two more 1 month visas inside China.
