what additional documents required if stay at friend home in China ?

i will be travlling to China throght Hong Kong and stay in my friend home at DongGuan city, ChangPing Town.
I'm not stay in hotel if i provide only the name, address and telephone number is enough or do i need to provide additional information ?

I think you may ask your friend to provide you an invitation letter and copy of his/her Chinese ID card as the assistance for your entry to China.
