About:China Visa on Arrival

Called to meetings at Penglai 14 days notice-Visa on Arrival

I have been called to attend meetings at short notice in PRC (Penglai). I envisage that arrival airport will be Shanghai. Am I able to get a Visa on Arrival at Shanghai? Or will I need to enter at a different port? (Hong Kong Airport?)

You'd better apply for a China visa in advance, since China doesn't issue on-arrival visa normally unless you are invited at the last moment by the Chinese host to come to China for the meeting.
