Chinese Visa for Chilean

To make the Visa application to travel to China like tourist to be there for 20 days i have to provide the Hotel booking for one night or i need to provide every single night ticket?. And the Travel itinerary should became from a tourist agency or i can provide my own, because i dont´want to travel with an agency.
