To apply for a China student visa, you also need to present your valid passport, a completely filled visa application form, the original and copy of approved Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW201 or JW202) issued by the Chinese authorized unit and a passport size photo. The residence permit should be applied at the local public security authorities within 30 days of your entry into China.
