About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

Can I apply for a 12 month multi-entry visa if I work in Mongolia and live in China.

I am a Canadian citizen working in Mongolia at the Oyu Tolgoi Copper mine project. My wife is a mongolian citizen going to University in Beijing and my adopted son is also going to school in China. We presently have an apartment in Beijing and I am traveling between mongolia and china on a tourist visa. I will be in Canada soon and would like to apply direct for a 12 month visa if it is possible. I appreciate any information and advice you are able to give me. Thank you, Wayne

Will you apply for a 12 month multi-entry visa of Mongolia or China? I'm just confused. Could you please clarify it?

Hi Lisa sorry for miss understanding, I presently live and work in Mongolia and have been in Mongolia for 1 1/2 years. My wife is attending University in Beijing and my adopted son is going to school in china. I would like to apply for a multiple entry 12 month visa to travel to China during my break from work. I presently work 10 days working and 4 days rest roster.

Have you ever been to China before? If not, I'm afraid you will not be granted with a multiple entry China visa. Anyway, you may confirm it when submitting your visa application at the China Embassy in Mongolia.
