About:Chinese Embassy in Brunei

Do you require visa to travel to hongkong , macau for brunei and malaysia passport

Hi, me and my husband will travel to hong kong and macau this may. Kindly adivse whether we need a visa to those places. I'm holding brunei passport and my husband holding malaysia passport with valid employment pass.

May I know how long you and your husband will stay in Hk and Macau? Both you are your husband are exempt from visa to Hk for a period of time. Your husbadn is visa free to Macau for 30 days, but your need a visa there that can be got at the air port on arrival.

We will stay in Hk for about 1 week and go macau about 3 days..

As for my visa for macau, can i obtain at the ferry terminal ? As we are going macau from hong kong via ferry.

Yes, you can get the Macau visa at the entry port on arrival.
