Can I get visa for China for the first time in the embassy?

I want to travel from Nepal to China, but I havent applied for visa in my home country.
Is it possibe to apply for my first visa to China in the embassy in Kathmandu? Will it be confirmed?

I think you can, but the final decision is in the hands of the China Embassy in Katmandu. If you can't get the vias individually, you can find a qualified travel agency there for help.
