The requirements for a China student visa application include:
1. your Pakistani passport which has over 6 months validity and more than 2 blank pages
2. a completely filled visa application form stuck with a certificate photo
3. photocopy of the personal information page of your passport
4. If it is your first visit to China, you should provide your local police character/clearance certificate
5. Student Visa Application for Study in China (Form JW 202 or JW201, original and photocopy)
6. Admission Letter from your perspective university
7. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad
8. Mark sheet/diploma (original and photocopy)

Pakistani passport holders are exempt from any visa fee.
