Visa Requirements for an Overseas Filipino Worker in Dubai who wants to visit China

Hi,

I am a Filipino currently working in Dubai. I am planning to visit China this year and I would like to clarify the following:

1. Can I apply for a China Visa here in the Dubai?
2. Will there be any problem if the visa is issued in Dubai but will travel to Philippines first before going to China?
3. Since I am already an overseas worker, do I still need to submit NBI clearance, employment certificate, company ID, SSS ID and contributions, TIN ID and latest ITR?
4. In lieu of number 3, can I present my employment visa in Dubai together with my bank statement?

Thank you,
Diana

1. If you have UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months, you can apply for a China visa from Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Dubai.
2. Usually the a single entry China visa has a validity of three months. It doesn't matter where you will go before entering China. If only you enter China before 24:00 on the expiration day of the visa, that will be ok.
3. You have to provide a No-objection letter from the applicant's company stating his or her monthly or yearly salary instead of a NBI clearance.
4. your employment visa and bank statement may be required.
