About:Marriage Registration in China

Married in Canada, residing in China

My husband is American, we got married in Canada, I'm Chinese. I'd like to have the marriage registered in China. What are the procedures for having the marriage recognized in China?

You just need to go to a local Notary Public to notary your marriage certificate obtained in Canada, then go to the police station which covers your residence in China to change the marital status.
