About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

3 months stay in China

Hi, as we are planning a bicyle tour in China I would like to know if it is possible to stay 3 months with 1 Visa. We both have EU passports and Swiss C residency permits. We will have booked flights from ZRH to BJN and back.

I don't think you can stay so long with a single entry China visa, since the duration of a single entry China visa is 30 days normally. Although you can apply for extension of stay, but you can apply for only once and the duration is less than 30 days. That is to say you can just stay in China for at most 60 days with a single entry China tourist visa.
It's possible for you to apply for a China visa in Switzerland, since you have residency permits of Switzerland.
