Is single entry visa for China what I should apply for?

I am flying Melbourne to Beijing via Guangzhou, traveling around China for 25 days, then flying Guilin to Hong Kong, staying Hong Kong 7 days and flying out of Hong Kong to Melbourne via Guangzhou (2 hours layover)
Your advice is appreciated on what tourist visa to apply for.

You may just apply for a single entry China tourist visa for your 25-day China tour starting from Guangzhou and ending at Guilin. For your 2-hour stopover at Guangzhou later, no visa will be required. I think you won't exit the airport area during such a short stop.
