About:China Visa Application in UK

UK citizen on holiday in Hong Kong is visa required for day trip to Zhuhui, China

yes, you do have to apply for a visa even if you will just go to Zhuhai for only one day. However, the visa can be got on arrival at Gongbei port. The visa fee is 469 RMB.
