About:Chinese Embassy in France

Residents permit for China visa application in France.

I have lived in South-East France for the past 8 years and am lead to believe that a Residents Permit is not necessary. Why do I need one for a visa to visit China? I am due to travel in early May.

In order to apply for a China visa in France, as an applicant who is not the French citizen, you need to get a copy of valid French visa or French Residence Permit first. Or you have to apply in your home country where you passport was issued. It is a general regulation.
