What do I need to get the tourist visa?

I am a qualified TEFL teacher moving to China in a month, they want me to go on a tourist visa and then after 3 months they change it to a work visa, what do i need to get the tourist visa...........please let me know asap. seaviewsportsbar.com|Hannie
