You can't get China visa on the day when you are leaving to Beijing at the Sapporo Airport. You can first to enter Beijing, when you stay there for one week, please go to the Exit-Entry Administrative Department of Beijing Public Security Bureau to apply for a China visa.

a currency exchange slip from the local bank is ok, at least US$ 200 per day, if you stay in China for 10 days, there should be at least US$ 2000. You can apply your tourist visa at a local travel agency.
