My husband bought a ticket for Guangzhou, China but he has no Visa. Can he travel without a visa?

Can he get his visa directly to the embassy or pass thru the travel agency? which is faster?

He must apply for a visa for the trip to Guangzhou. If he has time, I advise him to apply for the visa in person, since it helps to save the service fee for the travel agency. No matter make the application by yourself or through a travel agency, the visa processing time is same.
