Frenchperson living in USA need business visa to China

I am French and I live in the US (Boston, MA). It looks like I have to apply for a business visa at the Chinese Consulate in New York. Are there any travel agencies that can submit my visa application on my behalf, so that I don't have to go to New York?

Chinese Consulate in New York doesn't designated any travel agency to accept China visa application, at present, Chinese Visa Application Service Center in New York has not been in operation, you can't make application through it.

The consulate doesn't accept application by post, if you have a friend or relative in New York, you can mail all documents to him and ask him to submit application on your behalf.
