How to apply for china visit visa

For Sri Lanka nationals, you can't obtain an individual tourist visa to China, you have to join a tour group (at least 5 members in the group) and apply for a group tourist visa to China.

How can we join with a tour group?

You may just take part in a China tour packages, and then you will be in a toru group.

so if i join with a travel group,the places in china i can visit as my wish or it will be the tour plan.

You pay for the tour, so you certainly have the right to choose your destinations.

Yes as Jacob mentioned you need 5 members but if you get an invitation letter it have to get approved from the foreign affairs office in china your friend have to do that but its not easy for single entry . Like me I have my chinese wife so I have 1 year so you have a better chance if you have your own relatives if not its not easy .

And well after you pay for a tour package as it mentioned package you cannot go where ever you want ahamed if they go to shanghai they will take you the places that is included in there package only and you will not get chinese visa to your own passport you cannot travel single you have to be with the group so in this way you still have no chance of on your own way .
