What are the qualifications to be a "foreign expert" for an American working in China?

Foreign Experts Permit is issued to Foreigners who come to China to take up employment as experts, scholars, teachers, managerial personnel and as personnel working in related state or local organizations, if you work in China as a teacher, you should satisfy the following conditions:
1. be healthy
2. without criminal record
3. over the age of 18 years
4. have a bachelor degree
5. a certificate to teach ESL
