About:Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum

Information about Polish poet who lived in Shanghai in 1942-1945.

My name is Barbara Abraham and I have copies of Echo Szanghajskie from 1943 and 1942. I am looking for some information about my late friend's husband, a Polish poet Stefan Golab. They lived in Shanghai from 1942-45 and emigrated to Australia. I have also some poems Mr Golab wrote in that city.
I would be very grateful if you could help me with my research.

Hello Barbara, my name is Piotr Dubicki, I am making research about Polish organisations, residents and refugees in Shanghai between 1918 and 1953.
Please contact Mr. Eugene Bajkowski, who is living in Australia, but as a Polish living since 1933 till 1952 in Shanghai, and who's family was active in Polish organisations, also writing articles to Echo Szanghajskie, in my opinion he could know something of Mr Golab.
This name - Stefan Gołąb is on the list of Polish registered in Polish Consulate between 1934-41 http://www.loc.gov/rr/european/polref/polrefindex.html
Are these poems written in Polish? This story is so interesting.
I have a question yet - as I am trying to digitalize all copies of Echo Szanghajskie, could you be so kind and send me scans or photocopies of the ones you have? I will pay all costs. Please contact me at <span class="clspost">uno.com.pl|piotr.dubicki</span>
