About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

my granddaughter has a china (Hongkong) passport. Does she need visa for a week holiday in Australia

Yes, she has to apply for a Tourist visa (subclass 676) to spend her holiday in Australia. But she can submit the application online at http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration/
