What visa should I apply for my daughter to go to China?

Hi,

I'm a Filipino holding a Z visa and I want to take my daughter to come with me to China. She is 3 years old and holding a US passport, what type of visa should I apply for her? Can she come with me if i'll apply for a family/L visa for her? Can someone holding L visa allowed to study in China? ie; Nursery/Kindergarten. Or if i'll apply for a dependent visa for her while I am in China, what are the requirements? How long will it take? Thanks for the help.

You should apply for dependent visa for your daughter to live with you in China, if you apply for a family L visa for her, it only permits your daughter to stay in China for a short time. You need to apply a dependent visa for her in the Philipppines or USA, the requirements are:1. her Filipino passport 2. one passport photo3. visa appliation form V.2011A, if she apply for visa i the country other than the country of nationality, the visa application form V.2011B is also required 4. the birth certificate to prove the relationship 5. the photocopy of your passport, work visa, residence permit6. an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit, such as Foreign Affars Office
