About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I need to be on suzhou payroll by 2/6/12 ASAP

I hav accepted the offer in Suzhou and all the medical records have been sent to them.
They said I have to apply the visa in US after they send me the three letter of employment.
I will take the letters and apply for the Z-Visa or workpermit in US.
I understand in order to avoid the US tax I have to be on china payroll for 330 days calendar year.
I live in San Francisco. After receiving the letter of employment from China, how can I expedite and this request, so that I can be on the payroll ASAP.

Please help.

Thank you.
Jenny

Jenny, you have to apply for China work visa (Z visa) at Chian consulate in San Francisco as soon as possible, now it is Feb 1, 2012, the consulate will be closed on Feb 4, 5 2012 for weekend.

1. The regular processing time is 4 working days (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on Thursday).
2. Express service is available for an extra $20, which takes 2-3 working days.
3. Same day rush service is available for an extra $30 (applications presented before 12:00pm may be picked up between 2:00pm-2:30pm on the same day).

You have to choose the same day rush service in order to get a China visa before Feb 4, 2012.

Then you can come to China and to be on china payroll for 330 days calendar year.

Do I need 3 letters of employment BEFORE I can apply for the Z-Visa (Work Visa) - or can I go ahead and apply before I receive the letters of employment?

Yes, you need to get the three letters of employment, then apply for work visa at the consulate in San Francisco, without the letter of employment, you can't obtain a work visa to China.

The Alien Employment License
An Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit issued by an authorized unit in China (original).
are the most two documents for Chinese work visa application.
