DO I have to have health insurance to get a China visa?

Health insurance is not mandatory for China visa application, if you have medical insurance covering your visit in China, you fill out the name of medical insurance company and your account number on section 2.7 of visa application form V.2011A. If you don't have one, just fill N/A on the visa application form.
