About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Charges for HKSAR passport and $65 admin fee.

Hi,
Do I have to include HK$ 100 if I issue a HK$ bank draft (HSBC Canada) for applying my HKSAR passport and when do we pay the $65 admin fee to Chinese Consulate? In what payment form? Debit Card OK?

Yes, you have to include HK$ 100 Bank handling charge because the HK$ bank draft is not drawn on a bank in the HKSAR. You need to pay CA$ 75 for Chinese consulate in Canada when you submit HKSAR passport application. Only debit card, cashier's check or company check (personal check excluded) and money order are accepted by Chinese consulate.
